Angelica sylvestris 'Purpurea’, is short-lived perennial or biennial. It has lovely red-purple stems and foliage, that bring interest to the border in spring. The flowers are the same colour when young, but gradually turn pale as they mature. It’s a wonderful dark foliage feature plant. Loved by bees.
