Ferula communis is a tall herbaceous perennial which during late winter produces a mound of intricately cut lacy leaves. During spring a thick shoot, pushes through the centre of the ferny foliage producing a tall stem with 15cm wide umbels of yellow flowers. A very useful, striking and stunning plant.
