Lysimachia atropurpurea 'Beaujolais' - Purple Loosestrife is an upright clump-forming, perennial with beautiful deep wine-red flower spikes on long slender stems. It also has very attractive foliage with waxy rosettes of silver-green, narrow, wavy-edged 10 cm long leaves. Likes a little extra moisture, so is good in containers, and makes an excellent cut flower.
