Plectranthus ecklonii is a soft-wooded shrub that has an erect, bushy habit with large, deep green leaves that taper into their stalks and are deeply veined on the upper side. It’s tubular, purple flowers top each straight stem in a fluffy whorl. It is a drought tolerant plant and can survive competition with other plants.
