Salvia ‘Cardinal’ has rich purple flowers with pink undertones and a lighter throat. Its colour is reminiscent of a Cardinals cloak, hence the name.  It will flower pretty much the whole year until trimmed, and then taking only a few weeks before it is back in flower. It is loved by bees and other pollinating insects.
