Symphyotrichum lateriflorum 'Lady in Black' is a clump-forming perennial with a profusion of branching sprays covered with small white flowers. The dark purple stems are clothed with small, narrow, dark purple leaves creating interest throughout the season. It is a great source of nectar for bees and butterflies.
